Instructions for making beeswax candles

Recipes and instructions for making beeswax candles are very easy especially when using the preformed beeswax sheets. Preformed beeswax sheets come in various colors for you to match your decor and have a slight honey scent. Preformed sheets are easily made into rolled and spiraled candles and can also be cut into shapes by using art stencils or cookie cutters. This form of candle making is great for kids because the preformed sheets are all ready for you to use right away, no melting of wax is involved.

Candlemaking instructions can be found in many books and especially online through various web sites. Most candle making recipes from books and online sources are similar but will give you different color and shape ideas for you to work on. Beeswax preformed sheets can become a candle art with an abundance of ideas for unique gifts. Candlemaking with preformed wax sheets can become an art for anyone, any age.

The basic instructions for making beeswax candles are picking the color of preformed beeswax sheet, get enough wick for the length of the candle wanted, make sure wick is the right thickness for the width of the candle, roll preformed sheet around the wick (make sure wax is at room temperature for easy rolling and no breakage), and trim uneven edges. If cutting sheets into shapes, you can layer same shaped pieces, make a wick hole in the center of the layers, insert wick (appropriate for candle thickness). Shapes can also be made like a 3-D puzzle and can be made into various shapes using candlemaking recipes and ideas. Place candle in a proper candleholder and then you are ready to light your candle.
