Gel Candle Supplies - What You Will Need!

You probably already have most of the gel candle supplies and tools you need in your kitchen. The few supplies you don’t have can be purchased on line or at your nearest craft store. The basic tools needed are the following: a pan to heat the gel wax in, old coffee pots are good or even slow cooker/crock pot with a temperature gauge is good. If using an old pot you’ll need a candy thermometer, metal utensils like ladles, spoons, measuring spoons and skewers. Wood utensils will cause a chemical reaction with the gel. Knives, pizza cutters, cutting boards, wire cutters, clothes pins, scissors, cookie cutters and cookie sheets are smaller supplies you may need. Find all tools and supplies before you are ready to get started with your candle making so you don’t have to interrupt your creative thinking to find some supply you needed.

Gel wax, scent, dye and flame resistant embeds and containers plus all the tools from your kitchen are the basic candle making supplies you will need to get your gel candle making project started. What you don’t have can be purchased. Purchasing wholesale gel wax on line can save you time and money especially when purchasing larger quantities. Scent and dye are also available wholesale on line and at your nearest wholesale candles supply store.

When purchasing gel candle supplies for the first time, you may want to choose to purchase a gel candle making supply kits. Gel candle making kits will have all the supplies to get you started with one or two candles or more. Once your creative urges grow you will be able to add more supplies or kits to make more creative gel candles.
